The Endowment provides funding for both civic and community events in Bronx County and supports the Courts and courthouse personnel in providing services to the public.

The Bronx County Bar Endowment endeavors to recognize students from Bronx County who are matriculating at law school through the Craig Lensch and Honorable Peggy Bernheim Memorial Scholarships; high school students, who exhibit outstanding community service and are on their way to college; through the Honorable Gerald V. Esposito Memorial "Courage" Scholarship; and 7th and 8th grade students who have participated in the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Program.
