LAW LIBRARY
The Bronx County Bar Association has a complete working Law
Library located on the first floor of the Supreme Court Building.
The library contains a complete set of New York Supplement, CLS,
etc.
McKinney's, computer access and many invaluable texts and treatises
are available to MEMBERS. Photocopy and fax facilities are available
for reasonable fees. HOURS 9:00 a.m.
to 4:00 p.m. unless otherwise posted.
DINNERS AND FUNCTION
The Bronx County Bar Association has an Installation Dinner, at
which time our newly elected Officers and Directors are installed
as members of the Board of Directors, an Annual Dinner, a Holiday
Party and a Summer Outing, where dinner is preceded by golf and
tennis for those wishing to participate, and other special
functions and events.
LAW DAY PROGRAM
The Bronx County Bar Association sponsors a Law Day Outreach
Program in which a member and a judge visit a Bronx school to
speak to the students about the significance of our legal system
and its meaning to them. A program in the Courthouse is also
sponsored.
CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION LECTURES
As part of its ongoing effort to serve members of the legal
community, the Bronx County Bar Association through its members
provides continuing legal education lectures available to both
members of the Bar Association and members of the bar at large.
These lectures are accredited by the New York State Continuing
Legal Education Board, and participants receive continuing legal
education credits for their attendance.
